A user was having an issue with an application locking up every morning the first time she would launch it. After logging into the Terminal Server and logging her off, upon logging back in, the application would work find the rest of the day.
I made a backup copy of her profile on the TS which removed her from the System Properties – Advanced – User Profiles – Settings
When she logged back in, it was just recreating a Temp profile so when the user logged off, none of her settings were saved.
In order to resolve this, since i cut and pasted her profile folder to another location, I had to go into the registry and manually delete a key, since I did not properly click delete to remove the profile (since I wanted a backup).
On the Terminal Server go to the following location:
You will have to go through the list until you find the corresponding username, and then delete the key, and have the user log back in.
When scanning documents through a copier to email, the created emails with the PDF attachments are going to built-in Junk Folder. On the Exchange server I ran the following command in the Exchange powershell Get-OrganizationConfig and look for SCLJunkThreshold this should be set to higher the SCL value the scanned email is coming in as.
The email’s in the Junk Folder had an SCL value of 5, so I ran the following command to change the SCLJunkThreshold.
Set-OrganizationConfig -SCLJunkThreshold 6
Run another Get-OrganizationConfig and confirm the changes took effect.
